Dr. Lena Kim is a licensed naturopathic doctor who has been practicing naturopathic medicine since 2004, launching her own practice in 2005.

Dr. Lena Kim completed her premedical requirements with an Honours Biology degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, while also working on medical research in her final year.

It was during this period that she decided to become a naturopathic doctor, a path that aligned perfectly with her mission to identify and treat the root cause of health issues.

Dr. Kim went on to complete a four year post-graduate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She also completed advanced training in IV therapy, Bowen therapy, and lymphatic drainage therapy (LDT).

Dr Kim is actively registered and licensed with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta as well as being a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She also served on the board of the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Doctors for four years.

Dr. Kim takes great joy in seeing patients improve their health and go on to live happier and healthier lives, knowing that she was a part of that journey.

Dr. Kim joined forces with the team at Green Apple Health Care to be able to provide her patients with an expanded list of treatment options and even greater resources and support that allow her to devote more time to patient care.

Dr. Kim’s philosophy is that:

Our lives have always been about transitions. We move from infancy to youth to adulthood to senior years, and every stage brings a different focus and different health challenges.

A naturopathic doctor has the tools to help you improve your health and vitality, and to support your well-being as your health needs evolve.

In her spare time her favorite things are reading, walking in nature, travel, and food. Dr. Kim and her husband love to cook and discover interesting places to eat both here and abroad. They joke that they “travel on their stomachs”.
